A wide variety of recreational events and programs are offered throughout the Municipality of Clare each year.

HAVELOCK CHRISTMAS COMMUNITY SWAP

WHAT is a Community Swap?
Community members are encouraged to drop off items that they no longer have a purpose for and to come find new treasures. The items brought in MUST be in good enough shape that someone else can utilize it. We will be sifting through your drop off items as they arrive. You do NOT need to bring an item to take an item. Everything that remain after the event will be donated to many local organizations and community groups!

COST?
When you come "shopping" or "swapping" everything you take home is free and there is no limit on how many things you take! That being said, we will be accepting cash donations that will go toward the build of a new Havelock Fire Hall.

WHEN?
- On Friday December 16, community members can drop off items from 2 until 7pm
- On Saturday, December 17, from 10am until 4pm the public is welcome to come "shopping" for free!

WHERE?
The entire event takes place at the Havelock and Area Community Centre. 4628 Route 340, Weymouth. The Community Centre hall is on the lower level and is wheelchair accessible.

This event will be followed by a lighting of the Christmas tree at the Havelock Wesleyan Church at 6pm. There will also be music by Dark Blonde, hot chocolate, and cookies, as well as a visit from Santa.
