Grant funding is offered to encourage volunteer community groups, organizations and individuals to further improve or develop recreation opportunities for Clare residents.

Leadership Training Grant Program
(Formerly known as the Francophone Coaching & Officiating Development Program)

This funding program's objective is to increase the opportunity to support coaches, officials, community sport groups and individual leaders in their pursuit in NCCP and non NCCP training and professional development.

Community Recreation Assistance Program

The "Community Recreation Assistance Program" is primarily designed to provide financial assistance to help offset the cost related to participating in recreation programs for the benefit of residents of the Municipality of Clare.

Clare Active Kids, Healthy Kids Fund

Funds are available to support local groups and organizations to improve health and physical activity levels of children and youth. These funds are thanks to a partnership with the Municipality of Clare Recreation Services, Valley Active Communities Committee (Nova Scotia Health Promotion) and the Clare Community Health Board.

Canadian Tire JumpStart Program

Canadian Tire believes all kids should have the chance to run, skate, play and grow. That's why they have created Canadian Tire JumpStart, a community based charitable program from the Canadian Tire Foundation for families that help kids in need participate in organized sport and recreational activities.
