The idea of a basic income (BIG) has spread throughout Nova Scotia and Canada. What is a basic income, and what might it mean for you? This 17-minute documentary shares the experiences of four participants in the 2017-2019 Ontario BIG pilot project. Combining emotional narratives, real-life impact stories, expert insights and creative visuals, the documentary sparks curiosity, promotes understanding and encourages open dialogue about the transformative potential of a guaranteed basic income.
