This year, the popular event took place over ten days, with sixteen restaurants participating. Approximately 150 passports and votes were received by the Municipality of Clare’s Recreation Services.
This year, the Ptit Popper burger from Le Ptit Robicheau won the honors with a total of 42 votes. Second place was awarded to the Wissam’s Pizza burger with a total of 32 votes, and third place with a total of 20 votes was attributed to the Seashore Explosion burger from the Seashore Restaurant & Blue Rock Lounge.
“This year’s Burger d’la Baie event was a great success for our team at Le Ptit Robicheau with over 400 burgers sold. It’s truly remarkable to witness the community’s engagement during this event. We would like to thank everybody who tried and voted for our Ptit Popper burger. We can’t wait to reveal another tasty burger for you in next year’s Burger d’la Baie!” declared Shane Robicheau, owner of the Ptit Robicheau takeout food truck and winner of this year’s Burger d’la Baie.
Moreover, Mitch Robichaud, founder of Pop-Up for Foodies, decided to donate his profits. The sum of $675.53 was raised and donated to Wayne Gaudet, who is graciously helping raise funds for a family who lost their home in a tragic fire. We would like to thank Mr. Robichaud for this wonderful initiative, as well as all those who contributed to this cause.
