Pursuant to Section 168 of the Municipal Government Act, the Municipality of the District of Clare HEREBY GIVES NOTICE of its intention to amend the Building By-Law during the Regular Council Meeting on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at 7:00 p.m.

The proposed amendments may be reviewed at the Municipal office (1185 Highway 1, Little Brook, NS, B0W 1M0) between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. - Monday through Friday or by clicking this link. 

The purpose of this By-law amendment is to clarify the language and ensure consistency with the proposed revised Land-Use By-law regarding the use and permitted size of accessory buildings, increasing the maximum size from 144 square feet to 215.2 square feet.

Council deems these amendments to the Municipality of the District of Clare Building By-law necessary to ensure consistency between the applicable municipal by-laws.
