Little Brook, NS – February 12, 2020: The Municipality of Clare marked the retirement of Dr. Alban Comeau and his 41 years of service by hosting an intimate appreciation ceremony at the municipal office on February 10.

“I have been extremely fortunate over the span of my 41 year career to have collaborated with such an outstanding group of physicians who have also cared for all the people of Clare,” noted Dr. Comeau.

In lieu of a banquet in his honour, Dr. Comeau opted for the Municipality to make a donation in his name to the Yarmouth Hospital Foundation. Municipal Council respected his wishes and presented him with a cheque in the amount of $5,000 to the Yarmouth Hospital Foundation.

“Dr. Comeau has shown great empathy and compassion in a medical world where these values are highly regarded,” noted Ronnie LeBlanc, Warden for the Municipality of Clare. “The Municipality and the entire community wish him the best for his well-deserved retirement!”
